Who we are…
Since 1962 we have been providing national and international fiduciary trust services. Our customer base includes SMEs as well as major companies, start-ups and asset managers, both in Switzerland and abroad. Just as the world has changed we have also continuously aspired to take account of and adapt to the needs of our clients.
Irene Monika Näf
Irene Monika Näf is managing director and a member of the board of Mandatropa Ltd. She possesses more than 25 years of experience in fiduciary trust, taxation, accounting and auditing. She has worked for Mandatropa since 1996. Previously, she was employed with companies such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Credit Suisse Fides Trust and KPMG Fides Peat.
Following a commercial apprenticeship, she trained to become a trustee holding a Swiss federal proficiency certificate and later advanced to a Swiss VAT expert. She possesses a STEP Foundation Certificate in International Trust Management and is currently undertaking further training to become a STEP International Trust Manager.
Daniel Hug
Daniel Hug is a member of the management board of Mandatropa Ltd and is able to demonstrate more than 25 years’ experience in banking and financial services. He was a member of the board of management at VP Bank Switzerland, director at HSBC Private Bank and a member of senior management of Amtsersparniskasse Schwarzenburg. Prior to that he was the lead auditor at Ernst & Young.
His education and training include graduating in business management from the University of Bern, obtaining a Master of Business Administration at the University of Geneva, an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, plus additional professional diplomas including Trust and Estate Practitioner TEP and Certified Financial Planner CFP.
